What the product is
CRIC Waterproofing SBR is a cementitious waterproofing and repair polymer based on a modified styrene-butadiene emulsion. SBR+ is documented for the same family of waterproofing and repair applications with an SBR+ formulation.
These are not the same product as Waterproofing 2K, which is a two-component flexible cementitious coating, or LW++, which is an integral liquid admixture for concrete and mortar to IS 2645:2003.
Where the catalogue places it
Listed applications include concrete repair, roof terraces, sunken portions, toilets and bathrooms, lift pits, balconies, bonding new concrete to old concrete, and masonry and plastering.
The polymer is used with cementitious mixes in the method given in the product data. It is not a coating you invent a ratio for on site.
Choose the waterproofing type by the structure
A bathroom sunken portion, a basement water tank and a roof slab are different exposures. 2K is documented for basements, tanks, pools, retaining walls, tunnels and similar structures, in a 15 kg pack of 10 kg powder plus 5 L liquid. LW++ is mixed into concrete and mortar for beams, slabs, tanks, screeds and external plaster.
Match the system to the structure, then follow the technical data for mixing, coats and protection.
